Kids & Youth @ RPC

KIDS & YOUTH @ RPC

At RPC, children and youth are just as much a part of our church family as adults are.

However, we recognise that children learn in different ways to adults. So, we run a number of groups specificially designed for the needs of children and youth, throughout the week.

All our volunteers in our children's and youth programmes have completed the required child protection training and have have a current Working With Children Check (WWCC) . To find out more please click here.

Kids + Youth Sundays (preschool - yr 9)

Kids + Youth Sundays

Creche (pre-school aged kids)

Creche is offered during our 10.30am service for babies and toddlers. Parents and carers need to accompany their children in the crèche room.

The creche room is located in the Jack Watson Room, just across from the kitchen and can be accessed through the church auditorium. Just follow the signs at the back of the auditorium.

Kids' Church (School aged Programme K-5)

At Kids' Church our leaders seek to faithfully teach God's word to encourage children to grow in their knowledge and understanding of God and his amazing love for them.

Kids from week to week will can sit within the service with parents, and then after the service leader will announce the children will move to their programs. The parents need to accompany their children and sign them in at the foyer of the Talbot Hall and collect them from the Hall after the service. As always, we will be reserving the gallery above the auditorium for families.

RPY Sundays- Bible Crew (Yrs 6-9)

Bible Crew is a youth Bible study that runs during our 10.30am Service.

RP Youth

Friday 9th February

RPY is back on

RP Youth Fridays

We're a community of high schoolers, who love connecting with each other, building genuine relationships and experiencing the joy and freedom that is found in Jesus.

No matter who you are, where you've come from or what your story is.... YOU are welcome at RPY! We'll love to meet you and share with you how Jesus really does change everything!

What can you expect at RPY? Things are pretty relaxed at RP Youth...We normally kick off with some inclusive games or activities that help us to relax and have fun as a group. This is normally followed by a time of listening and sharing around the Bible, before we break off into small groups to discuss and ask questions. We love to end the night on a high with some 'omnoms' at supper.

When: 7.00-9.00pm every Friday night during school term (excludes public holidays and school holidays)

Who: High Schoolers/ youth (yr 6-12)

Growth Groups

GROWTH GROUPS

Growth Groups are small groups of about 8-12 people that meet weekly to grow together as Christians and to build deeper relationships with their brothers and sisters in Christ at RPC.

Most times Growth Groups gather they will study the Bible together because we believe that Christian growth comes through reading God's word. However, Christian growth is not purely an intellectual pursuit, it's about living the Christian life together too. That's why the groups also emphasise a growth in relationships within the group through encouraging each other, praying together, caring for each other and just hanging out together.

We strongly encourage all members of RPC to join a Growth Group and commit to attending regularly. We have groups meeting on various days throughout the week, morning and night.

A DIVERSE COMMUNITY

We are a community of people who want to hear God speak through His word and run our lives by what we hear. Many of our events—our Sunday meetings and our weekly Bible study groups—are centred around hearing God speak through his word, the Bible, and figuring out what we’ve heard means for our day-to-day lives.
